addendum

I just thought I'd also mention a few of the latest things that I've been working on, since it may be awhile before I have any new updates.

Aside from all of the coding, I've been experimenting with creating some interesting terrain for the game. There's no reason everything needs to be flat and straight, and hopefully there will eventually be some interesting environments to explore.





I'd also like to update Caleb's appearance for this mod, but I'm not totally satisfied with my recent attempts. I'm sure though that in time I'll figure something out...


Also a few large scale models have now been built and imported into the game, which was in itself a huge accomplishment. It required the use of an antiquated version of 3dsmax 2.0 in order to actually get the models into the game. Although they still need to be textured, they can be seen in this screenshot.


And of course all of the coding continues...

So although much has been accomplished this past year, a great deal more still needs to be done.

So, I'll look forward to continuing all of this madness in the new year, and eventually I'll return with some new updates.

Happy Holidays

It seems that the holiday season is upon us once again. So I just thought I'd wish everyone happy holidays and all the best for the new year, as this current year slowly comes to an end.

A whole lot of work has been accomplished this year, and somehow I've survived all of the stress, and overcome the many obstacles that stood in the way of this project.

Aside from all of the work that's been done this year, I've also somehow managed to continuously talk about this project for almost as long. For someone as naturally quiet as myself, I'm really surprised at just how much I've had to say. There's currently numerous pages on the topic of this mod over at the Postmortem, and Transfusion forums, and I'm actually quite shocked that I've somehow managed to fill up an amazing 50 pages at the Transfusion site!

So with a new year soon to begin, I think these updates of mine may become less frequent in the future, as I concentrate my efforts on all of the work that still needs to get done. I hope to continue to build on all that has already been accomplished this year, and I'll continue to be around if anyone wishes to contact me for any reason.

I wish everyone a great new year, and hope that the new year brings as much productivity and advancements to this project, as this current year has.

The Prophet

I never really liked the old prophet in Blood 2. So here's a quick look at Resurrection's new prophet.




This coding is really making me cranky, and I'm trying not to think about just how much more coding is still ahead of me. And so the work continues...
