Reality sucks

I'll be taking a bit of time off from the project for awhile due to the demands of life and reality, and a shortage of available free time. I've actually been finding it somewhat difficult lately in balancing my personal life and all of my obligations, against all of the work that's still necessary to do on this project. The shortage of volunteers has always been a problem but I'm still optimistic that situation might eventually improve. I'll admit that I'm feeling a bit cranky and burnt out at the moment as well.

However I remain determined to see this project through to completion no matter how long it takes. These updates might eventually decrease in number, but be assured that I'll still be here working away whenever I can find the time.

Comments and volunteers are still always appreciated, and I think there might actually be some potential volunteers coming out of the tunnels now...

The City at Night part 2


I recently returned to some of my old city levels in an attempt to improve them, and I think I'm finally beginning to get the hang of all of these damned lights. Hopefully I can find the time to do some more updating on all of my other levels as well.

Time is one thing that there never seems to be enough of, and I've been attempting to do my best with all of this work for the past 2 years on my own. But the demands and obligations of reality do prevent me from doing as much as I would like, and as I've often mentioned, volunteers are always appreciated.

This city street for example could benefit by having some low poly cars, and more garbage on the streets. Unfortunately I just can't find the time to create any more models at the moment. The same is true of all the textures that this game requires.




I do seem to have a great deal less free time then I used to, so any assistance is certainly a welcome relief. Texture artists, 3d modellers and C++ coders are still needed if anyone's interested in contributing to this resurrection madness. Anyone can contact me anytime for whatever reasons through the contact page.

I'll continue with all of this for as long as it takes to get it right. But if these updates do become somewhat scarce in the future, it's simply due to my increasingly limited free time....

But on a positive note, I finally got the ferris wheel to work!

Website Maintenance Update

I haven't had much time to work on things lately but I have managed to do a bit of website maintenance. A new information section has now been added to the site, for anyone that may not have noticed.

There's some information on the project's history here, as well as some background information on the game character's.

I've also included a brief look at some of the game's enemies, and I'll eventually expand on this section, as the website and project continue to evolve. A weapons section and a general story outline will eventually be added to the site as well, and if any of the links are broken please let me know.

The project continues to evolve and there is still much work to be done, but comments and volunteers are still always appreciated.
